Kristine D. Scott serves as the Regional Public Affairs Manager for Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), where she oversees public affairs operations throughout the Inland Empire—including Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, the Coachella Valley, and Imperial County.
Kristine is also an elected member of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council, first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
Before joining SoCalGas, Kristine was Vice President at TMG Communications, a strategic communications firm specializing in public relations, community outreach, and government affairs. She led major public information campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and public agencies across California. Her earlier career includes serving as an Account Executive at O’Reilly Public Relations, one of the Inland Empire’s leading PR firms, where she focused on media relations, public affairs, and public information programs for land use and commercial development clients.

Kristine' work has earned significant recognition. In 2024, she received the Inland Empire Economic Partnership's President's Award. She was named "Woman of the Year" in 2019 by Assemblymember James Ramos (40th District) and recognized as one of Hispanic Lifestyle's Latinas of Influence. Additional honors include the “Woman of Distinction” award from the 63rd Assembly District (2012), "Volunteer of the Year" from the California Building Industry Association, and "Associate of the Year" (2013) from the Building Industry Association, Baldy View Chapter.
A proud resident of Rancho Cucamonga, Kristine shares her home with George, a rescue dog adopted from the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new music, spinning, and training George to become a service dog.
Kristine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in American Studies from California State University, Fullerton. She is an alumna of California Connections (Class of 2015), a statewide leadership fellowship through the Southern California Leadership Network and the Inland Empire Economic Partnership Regional Leadership Academy (Class of 2017).
