In partnership with San Bernardino County Economic Development Department, Asociación de Emprendedor@s and Chaffey College, the City will host the second cohort of the Emprendedor@s Program on Monday, February 3.
Programa Emprendedor@s (Emprendedor@s Program) is an eight-week entrepreneurship academy that educates, motivates, empowers, and develops the leadership skills and business acumen of Spanish-speaking, Latino immigrant entrepreneurs (Emprendedor@s). All services are provided at no cost, and are available to low-income minorities.
The program is presented over eight consecutive weeks, two hours per week and includes topics on Empowerment, Leadership, and Business. Program participants will meet business experts and learn what they need to start their own small business.

Modules 1 and 2
- Defining your idea, product or service
- Business structures
- Registration of EIN and TIN
- Registration process (DBA) and SWOT analysis
Modules 3 and 4
- Marketing
- Social Media
- Sales
- Leadership
Modules 5 to 8
- Mission, vision and values
- Creating a business plan
- Importance of professional and personal image
- Business funding
- Human resources
Dates: Every Monday, February 3 through April 7
