The Economic Development Department serves as a liaison between the City and the business community. Economic Development is responsible for encouraging business investment opportunities, as well as supporting activities related to business retention, expansion, and attraction in Rancho Cucamonga.

The Economic Development Team is dedicated to driving the local economy, enhancing the economic vibrancy and sustainability of our City, and improving the quality of life for our residents and businesses.

Job seekers are encouraged to attend the City’s Annual Hiring Fair, where local businesses will be actively recruiting. Come prepared to make a great impression: dress professionally, bring an updated resume, and be ready for interviews. Boost your chances of success by participating in job readiness workshops hosted by the West Valley America's Job Center of California (AJCC).

Virtual Interview Skills and Social Media Workshop – Every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

This workshop provides information about contemporary interviewing techniques. You will learn the purpose of an interview, types of interviews, best practices, and questions that may be asked.

Virtual Resume Workshop – Every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This workshop covers the purpose of a resume, what recruiters want to see, how to create an updated resume for the current workforce, and types of resumes.

RC Works Job Posting Guidelines for Employers

To ensure a high-quality and relevant experience for all users, please follow these guidelines when submitting your job listings:

Eligibility

Employers must be based in Rancho Cucamonga or hiring for positions located within the city or surrounding area
All job postings must comply with local, state, and federal employment laws

Posting Requirements

Include a clear and descriptive job title
Provide a detailed job description, including responsibilities and qualifications
Specify the job location and employment type (e.g., full-time, part-time, seasonal, internship)
Clearly state if the position is paid, volunteer, or an internship

Before You Start

To ensure your job listing stands out, have the following items ready before you begin.

Logo: Add your logo to your job listing to boost your visibility and help job seekers recognize your brand at a glance.
Cover Image (1260 x 517 pixels): This image will serve as the cover image for your job listing. If no image is provided, a default image will be used.
Thumbnail Image (1000 x 517 pixels): This image will serve as the thumbnail for your job listing, helping it stand out. If no image is provided, a default image will be used.
