Beryl Park East Inclusive Playground Now Open!

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is thrilled to announce that the Beryl Park East Inclusive Playground is officially open! A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, September 6, to celebrate the City’s first inclusive playground, designed for children of all abilities to enjoy play together.

This state-of-the-art playground promotes health, wellness, and inclusive play through a range of features, including:

  • Adaptive swing
  • Accessible disc swing
  • Inclusive Whirl (accessible merry-go-round)
  • RoxAll (accessible see-saw)
  • Sensory and interactive play elements
  • Gentle slope ramps
  • Ground-level, rubberized surface
  • Shade structures

Additional enhancements include accessibility upgrades to restrooms and the parking lot, plus a new crosswalk at Beryl Street and Highland Avenue.

Funded in part by the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation Proposition 68 Parks and Water Bond Act, this project represents an important step toward creating a more inclusive community for all.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to experience the joy of Rancho Cucamonga’s first inclusive playground!
