The Inland Pacific Ballet Academy’s annual Spring Recital presents a classic story ballet performed entirely by students. It is open to all IPB Academy student levels, from 3-year old Pre-Ballet through the upper division's most advanced students. To fill out the cast roles, several Inland Pacific Ballet Company dancers and IPB Studio II Company dancers will also perform.
This year’s production is Coppélia, a popular classic ballet that tells the story of Dr. Coppélius, who has a magical toy shop and builds a life-size dancing doll, Coppélia. It is so lifelike that Franz, a village youth, becomes infatuated with it, until his sweetheart saves him by cleverly revealing the truth. Photo © 2009 E.Y. Yanagi.

Every person, regardless of age, needs a ticket to attend a performance at the Lewis Family Playhouse. Children must be able to sit independently in their own seat for the duration of the show. Babes in arms are not permitted.
